All Things New Again’s Milk Paint Class takes the mystery out of milk paint!

Milk Paint Class | Northern Virginia | Real Milk Paint | Painting Furniture | Learn How to Paint Furniture

Milk paint is an all-natural, eco-friendly option for creating a variety of beautiful finishes on furniture–and more.

However, it can be unpredictable compared to other types of paints.

This is a hands-on class where students learn how milk paint is different—and how beautiful it can be!

Milk paint is our first choice for easily creating layered and textured finishes with multiple paint colors.

We use Real Milk Paint products, made from 100% organic materials. This is the milk paint brand we sell here at the shop.

Students will receive a 10% discount on all paint purchases made the day of class.

Our Milk Paint Class covers:

  • Prepping furniture for milk painting
  • Mixing Real Milk Paint
  • Creating an old “chippy” finish
  • How to create a smooth finish with milk paint
  • Create a crackled finish
  • 2-color (or more!) layering and distressing
  • Sealing your project

Students will practice three milk paint techniques on sample boards. Then choose their favorite (or combine techniques!) to paint a stool in class to take home and enjoy.

These are the stools we are currently painting in our Milk Paint Class. Check out the different techniques our students created.
