Milk paint is one of the oldest forms of paint and can be used to create a variety of beautiful looks. It has been around for hundreds of years so it stands the test of time! Real Milk Paint is all-natural, biodegradable and comes in more than 50 vibrant colors.
However, milk paint can be unpredictable.
Our class at All Things New Again in Leesburg, Virginia takes the mystery out of milk paint and shows you how to use this product and create a variety of looks.
Students will receive a 10% discount on paint purchases made the day of class.
Our Introduction to Real Milk Paint class covers:
- Prepping furniture for milk painting
- Mixing Real Milk Paint
- Creating an old “chippy” finish
- Creating a smooth finish
- Creating a crackled finish
- 2-color layering and distressing
- Sealing your project
Students will practice three techniques on sample boards then choose their favorite (or combine techniques!) to paint a small table in class to take home and enjoy.
Check out these tables our students painted in class!
